When you think of cured Spanish meats, you will likely think of Chorizo. It is by far the most well known cured meat that comes from Spain. Although it is readily available in shops and deli’s right across the UK you will never have tasted anything like this. This is a black label Chorizo De Bellota which has been sourced from acorn-fed black Iberian pigs- the very finest of animals. The silky sweet nuttiness is perfectly matched with the salty and spicy flavours of the paprika.

Once you taste this Chorizo, no other will do.

This packet of Black Label Chorizo de Bellota is sourced from Valle de los Pedroches, Cordoba who represents one of the finest producers of this product in all of Spain.

Each packet contains 100gs of Salchichon.

Storage & Instructions

This Chorizo is vacuum-packed to preserve and protect the Chorizo, meaning that it will come out beautifully fresh and flavourful. You do not need to refrigerate the Chorizo, but keep it in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened you may refrigerate and consume within 10 days.

Do not freeze your Chorizo!

Before enjoying your Chorizo De Bellota, you should warm the meat up to get the fats and flavours flowing. Run the packet under warm water for 30 or so seconds, and move the packet to break apart the slices. Once opened, leave the slices to rest in the open for 10 minutes to allow the meat to breathe, soften and regain its rich, spicey, nutty flavours.

How to Eat?

The beauty of Black Label Chorizo is the fact that you do not need to add anything to it. The flavours are perfectly balanced and do not need to be combined with anything. We suggest that you place the Chorizo on a platter and enjoy it with cheeses, pickles and crusty bread. Otherwise, for an extra treat, you can cook with the Chorizo to give any dish a super Jamon flavour!
